Atari Centipede

Atari Centipede is a classic fixed-shooter arcade game where your goal is to defend yourself against waves of enemies, including centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas, using your trusty bugblaster. Aim to survive as long as possible in this thrilling challenge! Your bugblaster fires small darts to target the segmented centipede, which typically consists of 10 to 12 body parts, including its head. Each time you hit a segment, it turns into a mushroom, and the remaining segments continue their descent toward you independently. To completely eliminate the centipede, you must shoot its head. Control your bugblaster with the keyboard or mouse to move around the screen and fire at the enemies. Stay alert, aim carefully, and try to outlast the invasion!
